Overview

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care to residents during the night shift.

Job responsibilities

Shift details: 19:45 - 08:00

  • Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
