About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be a crucial part of our night team, ensuring residents with dementia receive quality care and comfort throughout the night. You’ll create a safe and reassuring environment, assisting with personal care, monitoring wellbeing, and offering companionship when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting residents with personal care and bedtime routines
  • Ensuring a calm and safe environment throughout the night
  • Providing reassurance and comfort to residents who may wake during the night
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing, reporting concerns to senior staff
  • Assisting with light housekeeping duties to maintain a comfortable setting
  • Documenting care activities and maintaining accurate records
