Overview

Job Title: Care Assistant - Nights

Salary: £12.80ph plus incentives

Hours: Full Time, 7pm - 7am, 3-4 shifts a week to include alternate weekends

Location: Walkeringham, DN10 4LD

About South Moor Lodge

South Moor Lodge is located in the village of Walkeringham (5 miles west of Gainsborough). The home is centred around a nineteenth century barn, extended in keeping with its character, providing homeliness and modern living accommodation. The home sits within two acres of landscaped grounds and provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Assistant

• Support residents in daily living, including personal care, washing, dressing and eating
• Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, and support their physical and emotional wellbeing
• Complete Daily Charts to a high standard, aiming for 90%+ in monthly audits
• Maintain current mandatory training throughout the year

Essential Requirements

• A genuine interest or experience in care
• Live within 30 minutes of the home

Preferred Requirements

• One year of experience in a residential or nursing home
• Level 2 Health & Social Care or above
