Responsibilities

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. You will assist residents with personal hygiene, recognise clinical risks, and act courteously towards residents and visitors. You will live the organisation’s values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.

  • Assist residents in personal hygiene care, ensuring independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and escalate clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About the Role
