Job responsibilities

Package Description:

Shift Details: 21.15 p.m. to 7.15 a.m.

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. Your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. You will assist residents with personal hygiene, recognise and understand clinical risk areas, and act courteously towards residents and visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality. You will need excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents in all personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and escalating identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
