This Care Assistant role is based at our Blackwater location and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact by delivering high-quality personal care and contributing to a close-knit care team.

Job responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care to residents with dignity and respect, contributing to continuity of services with the care team.
  • Recognise, assess, and escalate clinical risks in a timely manner (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection).
  • Interact courteously with residents and their visitors, upholding the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Shift Details: 20:00 to 08:00

About the role

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and to contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

To be successful, you should live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Experience is not required, as Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence in the role.
