Job summary

Aurem Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life within our warm homes across the UK. You will provide personal care, emotional support, and assist with daily activities, always with kindness and professionalism.

Full training and ongoing support are provided. Flexible contracts (22, 33 or 44 hours) and both full-time and part-time roles are available, with night shifts and DBS checks offered.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Building positive relationships and creating meaningful experiences for those in your care.
• Supporting residents with their daily activities and individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate records using our electronic care planning system, Nourish.
• Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
• Demonstrating kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
• Undertaking additional duties as required to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are enthusiastic about providing outstanding care and support.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for others.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Are organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Encourage and support residents to maintain their interests, hobbies, and social connections.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
