Job Role: Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months experience in care and be compassionate.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with the day-to-day care of patients, either in homes, hospitals, or in patients' own homes.

They are vital members of teams in hospitals, homes, and clinics.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in care are essential.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you would work under supervision of nursing staff and alongside other healthcare assistants.

  • Talking to patients to reduce anxiety

Your daily work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospitals. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
