About the role

Pay Details: Qualified to City and Guilds level 2 (Core and Practice) or equivalent: Grade 4 - £24,790 to £25,584 pro rata, £12.65 to £23.20/hr.
Unqualified/working toward City and Guilds level 2: Grade 3 – £24,404 pro rata, £12.65/hr.

Hourly rate enhancements apply for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays).

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Saturday
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays

Shift pay rates:

  • 12 am – 6 am: Time & 1/3
  • 6 am – 10 pm: Plain time
  • 10 pm – 12 am: Time & 1/3

Hours of work: 1 vacancy – 23.5 hours/week, on a 6-week rota with shifts from 6:45am to 2pm and 1:45pm to 9pm, working Monday to Sunday.

Role description: To provide personal, physical, and emotional care in a residential setting for older adults, including those with dementia.
