We are recruiting a Care Assistant to support a busy care home with flexible hours, alternate weekends, and the opportunity to make a real difference.
Location: The service premises, but you may be required to work at other locations with appropriate notice.
Role-specific Duties
- Ensure residents are at the heart of care, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance wellbeing.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
- Support residents in maintaining relationships with their community.
- Follow care plans and document appropriately.
- Inform Senior Care Staff of any changes in residents' needs.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents.

About The Role
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications: Good written and verbal English skills.
Skills
- Proficient in maintaining care plans and records.
- Effective communication to build rapport and inform colleagues.
- Problem-solving skills for quick adaptation and protection reporting.
- Assist residents with daily tasks per care plan, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and bathroom use.
Previous Experience
- No prior experience required.
