Job summary

Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield are hiring care assistants to deliver care and support to our vulnerable clients within their own homes in Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield and surrounding areas.

We offer full training during a 2-day induction, flexible hours, paid travel time and expenses, a Pension Scheme, Early Pay, ongoing training and career progression opportunities, plus a refer-a-friend scheme and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Personal care including washing, dressing and toilet assistance.
• Moving and handling and transfers with hoist/rotunda where needed.
• Support with medication administration as required.
• Companionship, domestic tasks and shopping support.
• End of life care to ensure comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Support medications as part of care plan.
• Perform light domestic tasks and accompany shopping.
• Offer companionship and social interaction.

Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield are hiring care assistants to deliver care and support to our vulnerable clients within their own homes in the following areas:Mansfeld, Mansfield Woodhouse, Ladybrook, Warsop, Clipstone, Rainworth, Blidworth, Annesley, Hucknall, Sutton in Ashfield and Kirkby in Ashfield.

We are a award winning domiciliary care company and deliver care to our clients in their own home, preserving their independence for as long as

possible.

About the role

What the job entails.

• Personal care (washing, dressing, toilet assistance)

• Incontinence care (changing of incontinence pads)

• Support with medication

• Support with moving and handling (including hoist and rotunda transfers)

• Companionship, domestic and shopping calls (cleaning, shopping, social time)

• End of life care (supporting individuals and making them comfortable during the end of their life)

We offer full training in all aspects of care during our 2 day induction, alongside a voluntary shadow shift where you can go to work with one of our carers to experience a “day in their life”.
