THIS ROLE IS UK BASED AND THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK WILL NEED TO BE ESTABLISHED AS PART OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS. We are not sponsoring VISA applications at this time.

Every one of our clients is unique and special, and the joy and comfort our clients receive from one of our Care Professionals visiting them makes this an incredibly rewarding job.

Duties include:

  • Reflect the core values of Home Instead
  • Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life.
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.
  • Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff.
  • Provide companionship to ensure a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction.
  • Assist with home help tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, local activities, or shopping.
  • Support clients with personal care tasks like bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to maintain their health and independence.

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to travel around.
  • Require a full DBS check.
  • No formal care qualifications or experience needed; training provided.
  • Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, or in healthcare is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Various shifts available: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, nights.
  • Ongoing training and fully funded Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
  • Health cash plan, double pay for bank holidays, Blue Light card discounts.
  • Minimum visits of one hour or more with regular clients.
