Do you have experience working in retail as a shop assistant? Then you already possess many skills needed to become an excellent Care Assistant.

You will be recruited to a dedicated care team operating in:

• Knotty Ash (L14)
• Broadgreen (L14)

For this role, we are recruiting:

• 2 x Drivers

Shift pay, rather than pay per call, means you are paid from the start of your first call to the end of your last call within a shift.

As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your working hours will follow our shift patterns, including early starts, late evenings, and weekends:

We will set a 2-week rota, which may include:

• Alternate full weekends, or every Saturday or Sunday
• Evenings as agreed within your working hours

Job Responsibilities:

If you have retail experience, you'll already have many skills to excel as a Care Assistant. Patience, empathy, and effective communication are essential.

As a Care Assistant in Dovecot and Knotty Ash, you will:

• Provide personal care respecting people's dignity
• Promote independence using enabling approaches
• Support individuals to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
• Connect people to their communities and local support services
• Deliver personalized care based on individual choices
• Communicate effectively, document, report, and share information appropriately

Induction Training:

We seek candidates with Be Caring values. No prior care experience is necessary, as transferable skills from roles like shop assistant are valued. We provide comprehensive training on:
