We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference in the quality of life for our clients to join our team at Edgbaston Office as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients stay independent in their own homes.
The responsibilities vary from client to client and may include assisting with personal care (such as toileting and hygiene), meal preparation, medication prompts, homecare tasks (like washing, laundry, and cleaning), as well as companionship—such as accompanying clients to shops, pharmacies, and social activities. We also specialise in Alzheimer's and dementia care, with full training provided. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is offered.
Our clients' schedules typically include breakfast, lunch, tea, bedtime, and overnight calls, depending on their level of care needs.
No previous experience in care or working with older people is necessary, though it is desirable. Experience could include caring for a family member or voluntary work. A passion for supporting others, reliability, trustworthiness, and respect are essential. You should enjoy building professional relationships and feel comfortable spending time with others.
As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry-leading training, competitive pay rates, excellent support, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, a refer-a-friend bonus, and opportunities for progression and additional qualifications, including NVQ Level 1, 2, and 3 in Health & Social Care.
