Home Instead in the Weald region invites applications for a Care Assistant to support clients with community visits in Ticehurst. You’ll provide companionship, light home help and daily tasks with compassion.

Paid training, travel time and mileage, and an open, supportive workplace help you grow. A driver’s licence and reliable car are preferred, with weekend flexibility and a focus on making a real difference in people’s lives every day.

Responsibilities

• Companionship – spending quality time with your client, and being a friendly, familiar face.
• Home help/ meal preparation – assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meals or preparing ready meals.
• Medication support – reminding or assisting with taking medications.
• Personal hygiene – supporting with dressing, undressing, toileting and bathing.
• Getting out and about – accompanying them to shops, cafes, garden centres, or just a walk for fresh air.

Title: Care Assistant - Community Visits

Location: Ticehurst

Salary: £14 p/h - Enhanced rate on weekend and BH

• Minimum 1 hour visit- time to care and connect
