Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

• Companionship: Spending quality time with clients and being a friendly, familiar face.
• Home Help / Meal Preparation: Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meals, or preparing ready meals.
• Medication Support: Reminding or assisting with medication intake.
• Personal Hygiene: Supporting dressing, undressing, toileting, and bathing.
• Getting Out and About: Accompanying clients to shops, cafes, garden centres, or for walks to enjoy fresh air.
