Acomb Manor, part of St Mary's Care Homes, is recruiting Care Assistants to help open its doors in North Yorkshire. You will join our opening team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care and create a welcoming home for residents.

We value listening, kindness and teamwork. No prior care experience is essential as training is provided, and you’ll be supported to grow within a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Care Experience Is Welcomed But Not Essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate care and support tailored to each resident's needs, preferences and choices.
• Taking time to get to know residents, their life stories, interests and what matters most to them.
• Encouraging residents to remain active, engaged and involved in daily life wherever possible.
• Supporting residents with dignity, respect and kindness at all times as well as attending to their personal care.
• Whether it's enjoying a chat over a cup of tea, celebrating birthdays or supporting activities, you'll help make every day meaningful.
• Collaborating closely with your colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
