Job summary

Lauriem Complete Care Ltd in Deal, Kent, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred support to residents in our Extra Care scheme. You will help with daily tasks, companionship, and enabling independence in the comfort of clients' own homes.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. Permanent contracts with guaranteed hours are on offer, with shift patterns 7am-2pm, 4pm-9pm, and weekend availability; a caring, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

No experience required – full training provided.
Ability to work 7am - 2pm, 4pm - 9pm and weekend availability.
Caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Personal care
Medication support (where applicable)
Meal preparation and basic cooking
Light household tasks
Companionship and emotional support
Supporting residents to access activities and social opportunities
Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times
Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
