Job summary

Meadow Bank Care Home in Preston is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will support daily living activities, follow care plans and help maintain residents' dignity and wellbeing while working as part of a supportive team.

Training and development are provided, with opportunities for progression. The role is open to applicants with or without prior care experience, and a DBS check is provided.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to provide safe, responsive care.
• Contribute to a warm, supportive environment and positive resident relationships.
• Support residents to maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Participate in a team that values learning and development.
