Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year care experience in elderly settings (nursing home, hospital or community).
- SVQ 3 is essential for Principal Carer and leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Promote the highest standards of care within the nursing home.
- Uphold residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Adhere to SSSC Code of Conduct.
- Set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene and behaviour.
- Report injuries or unsafe practices to relevant personnel.
- Maintain correctly written records as required by policy and regulation.
