Job summary

GoodOaks Homecare Bedford is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to provide in-home care across Bedford. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with paid training and flexible contracts. All successful applicants will receive ongoing support from a dedicated management team.

We welcome candidates with or without care experience and provide full paid training. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to visit clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Right to work in the UK (required)
• DBS and Right to Work checks will be completed before employment

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with daily routines and household tasks
• Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, ironing)
• Preparing meals and supporting nutrition
• Running errands (shopping, prescriptions)
• Supporting with personal care (where required)
• Medication reminders
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and social activities
