Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant in Bedford to provide companionship and practical support in clients’ homes. You’ll help with daily activities, personal care and household tasks, with training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Help with mobility needs, staying safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
