Koinonia Christian Care Home is seeking a friendly and approachable individual to join our dedicated team, caring for our vulnerable Christian residents. We support staff in achieving Health & Social Care qualifications, ideal for those looking to progress in the care sector.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, professional care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, such as bathing.
• Support residents with eating and drinking.
• Get to know residents to offer comfort, assistance, and reassurance.
• Respect and treat residents as individuals with unique needs.
• Maintain residents' dignity and respect.
• Encourage independence and community involvement within the home.
• Assist with domestic tasks like tidying, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support care at the end of life.

About you:

• You enjoy working with older people and have empathy for them.
• You are a team player willing to undertake any task to provide excellent care.
• You are well-organized, adaptable, and practical.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification is required.

Hours:

43 hours per week, 5 shifts including every other weekend.
