Job summary

Beaumont Health Care is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team in Northern Ireland. This role focuses on delivering personal care, supporting daily activities, and promoting residents’ independence in a home-like setting.

We welcome applicants with or without prior care experience; full training and development are provided. Shifts span 7 days with a 8.00am–8.00pm, 8.00am–2.00pm, 2.00pm–8.00pm, and 8.00pm–8.00am rotas, and a competitive salary is offered with pension and parking facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a care home setting.
• We offer full training and development – you may have worked in a retail, supermarket, customer service, warehouse or other people focused environments or just returning to work.

Responsibilities

• Delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Understanding our resident’s communication needs and adapting your communication to the individuals and their families, offering confidence and reassurance.
• As team player who works well with others, a natural easy communicator, patient and understanding with the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
• Good observation skills, a sense of humour and a positive outlook.
• You may have no experience as a Care Assistant so we offer full training and development – you may have worked in a retail, supermarket, customer service, warehouse or other people focused environments or just returning to work.

Care Assistant (No Sponsorship) Full time hours

About the role

As a Care Assistant you will be:

The working shift patterns on a rota over seven days:

8.00am - 8.00pm

8.00am - 2.00pm

2.00pm - 8.00pm

8.00pm - 8.00am
