At Bluebird Care Islington & Hackney, we believe that the quality of our staff in the field is what enhances our reputation.

We are recruiting kind and caring individuals to join our team of Home Care Assistants (Domiciliary).

Our Carers visit customers' homes to provide care services that enable them to live independently in Hackney and Islington, including areas such as N1, EC1, N7, N19, N4, N5, N16, E5, E8, and E9.

Responsibilities of our Care Assistants include:

• Supporting with personal care
• Providing companionship
• Prompting and/or administering medication
• Supporting with food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping
• Assisting with manual handling and using equipment as required
• Promoting customer health and well-being to enable full living

Requirements for a Care Assistant:

• Valid right to work in the UK
• Genuine desire to care for others
• Reliability, compassion, honesty, and patience
• Residency in Islington or Hackney
• Availability to work more than 20 hours per week
• Ability to work at least 2 evenings per week and 2 weekends per month
• Ability to work a minimum of alternate weekends (including Saturday and Sunday)

Previous experience is desirable, but we offer excellent training for those without experience.

We offer both full-time and part-time hours on a zero-hours contract. Our care services operate from 7 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, with working hours including early mornings and late evenings, as well as alternate weekends.

We require a commitment to work at least 2 evenings per week and alternate weekends.
