A community organization is seeking a caring and reliable Personal Assistant in Bristol for a part-time position. The role involves assisting with daily tasks, providing emotional support, and promoting well-being in a flexible environment. Ideal candidates will have a kind nature and the ability to adapt to changing needs. This position offers a chance to make a positive difference in someone's life.
About Me:
Hi! I am a 25-year-old female living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). This is a neurological condition that affects my independence - particularly my mobility and energy levels. I walk using a mobility aid and sometimes need support with tasks like navigating stairs or getting ready. I often find simple tasks challenging but approach life with warmth, optimism, and a strong sense of humor.
I’m incredibly friendly and love to build trusting, supportive relationships with those around me. If we work together, I’d love to create an environment where you feel valued, appreciated, and comfortable. You’ll often find me immersed in a good book, and I have a habit of sharing cakes and pastries with those who cross my path - so there’s a good chance you’ll find me baking!
About the Role:
5 hours per week (hourly visit x 5) - flexible to fit in with husband’s working pattern. I’m looking for a reliable, compassionate, and adaptable Personal Assistant to help me with day-to-day tasks while bringing a grounding and calming presence. This isn’t a clinical caregiving role - it’s about practical assistance and support, helping me maintain healthy routines while making life a little smoother.
