Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate aids and techniques.
  • Support clients in maintaining daily routines, including meals, medication reminders, and activities.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and promptly report any concerns or changes in health status.
  • Assist with light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and safeguard the health and safety of clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver coordinated and person-centered care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (Preferred).
  • Good understanding of elderly care and safeguarding principles.
  • Basic knowledge of manual handling, medication administration, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a caring attitude.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a care home, hospital, or domiciliary care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Freshers with the right attitude and a willingness to undergo training are also welcome to apply.
Working Hours
  • Flexible shifts available:
  • Day Shifts (7 AM – 2 PM / 2 PM – 9 PM)
  • Night Shifts (9 PM – 7 AM)
  • Weekend Rotations required on a scheduled basis
  • Overtime opportunities available.
