Job Details

• Position: Care Assistant
• Hours: 26 hours per week, with flexibility
• Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
• Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, with evening and weekend flexibility
• Shift Patterns: 9-12 hour shifts, early starts from 07:30 am, evening shifts until 11:30 pm
• Driving: Full UK license and ability to drive a Motability vehicle are essential

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Support with showering, washing, dressing, toileting, hoist transfers, and ventilator management.
• Domestic Tasks: Meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and household maintenance.
• Social & Leisure Activities: Assisting with outings, events, sailing (seasonal), and packing/unpacking bags.
• Physiotherapy & Exercise: Support with stretching, physiotherapy routines, and hydrotherapy.
• Driving & Transportation: Assist with trips using the Motability vehicle and support with short journeys.

Requirements

• Experience in manual handling and personal care
• Driving license with Motability vehicle experience
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Training & Support
