(ce4) We are looking to recruit a committed enabler to support an 8-year-old young boy diagnosed with autism. The support involves providing various activities within the local community, including walks in parks, countryside, and woodlands, as well as occasional drives in the car.

Main Duties

  1. Provide 4 hours per week during 7 weeks of the school holidays, increasing to 8 hours per week during the 6 weeks of summer.
  2. Build a secure relationship with the young boy and his family.
  3. Encourage appropriate interactions during activities.
  4. Prompt the young boy with toileting needs when required.
  5. Administer medication if necessary; full training will be provided.

  • Outgoing personality.

Rates of pay

£16.41 per hour. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro-rata). Out-of-pocket expenses will be met by the Employer. This post requires a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references (cost to be met by Employer). A valid UK driving license and Business Insurance are essential for car use.

Additional Information

These hours can be arranged flexibly with the employer.
