(e7) To provide support for a 10-year-old boy with Extreme Short Bowel Syndrome requiring Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), which is intravenous nutritional feeding.

MAIN DUTIES

We are recruiting a Support Worker to help this child access age-appropriate leisure activities in the community. He enjoys outdoor activities but tires quickly and may vomit if overexerted, requiring immediate support. He also enjoys crafts, board games, and playing with action figures. The successful candidate should be calm in stressful situations and provide personal care as needed.

Full training on TPN will be provided.

Hours: 4 hours per week with some flexibility.

Rate of pay: £13.09 per hour. Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks annually (pro-rata). Out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
