Job Description:

We are looking to recruit a support worker to provide 1:1 enabling support for a young man both within his own home and in the local community, accessing age-appropriate activities.

The child has a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, OCD, and dyspraxia. He is a happy, pleasant young man with sound verbal communication skills and can manage his own personal care.

He has a keen interest in transport, including buses and trains, and enjoys being out on these. Due to sensory issues around hearing, he prefers quieter activities in the community, such as SEN soft play sessions. Support in accessing these activities and supporting his interests is preferred.

There will be no medication to be administered in this role.

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Hours Breakdown:

  • 4 hours per week during term time – evenings/weekends
  • 8 hours per week during school holidays – more flexibility required
