(97d) We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young woman to enable her to live her life in the way she wants and to promote her independence.

She is Autistic and requires support in her daily routines, such as cooking, eating, laundry, and household tasks.

There are two dogs in the home; while not responsible for them, you should be comfortable around dogs.

Experience with autism/supporting people with autism and knowledge of neurodiversity is advantageous.

You should be trustworthy, reliable, and respect confidentiality.

This role involves 3 hours per week, supporting with admin tasks, community outings, planning, and possibly batch cooking.

Being Autistic means each day can vary, leading to fatigue or burnout. The role aims to support routine building and prevent burnout.

You should be proactive in suggesting community activities. A driver with own transport is preferred, but public transport is acceptable; expenses are covered.

Hours: 3 hours per week, days to be discussed at interview.
