Personal Assistants are required to provide full care to a young woman with severe learning difficulties, including epilepsy and complex needs, at home and in the community. The client depends on others for all her care needs.

Note: We require only female applicants due to the nature of personal care. This is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act, Schedule 9, and Part 1, Section 7e of the Sex Discrimination Act.

Requirements
  • Essential: Previous paid caring experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and support with care needs and emotional support
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Non-smoker
  • References and DBS checks will be carried out
Hours and Pay
  • Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 8 pm [20 hrs]
  • Saturday and Sunday, 9 am to 8 pm [22 hrs]
  • Pension and annual leave provided
  • Some cover for other personal annual leave required
  • £12.00 per hour
