Care Assistant for a lady P/T @ £13.09/hr in Berwick-upon-Tweed - FTE - £25.5k

Young lady in Berwick area requires an enabler to support with 19 hours each month to be used flexibly in agreement with worker and employer on evenings and weekends. Non-smoker preferred.

Must be a car driver.

Experience or knowledge around dealing with autism preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: 19 hours per month
Rates of Pay: £13.09
Location: Berwick area

Main Duties: Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest, i.e., worker to have an interest in swimming and sports activities. Likes cats and dogs. Car driver essential to allow activities further afield. Enabling support around independent living, cooking and cleaning routines, shopping and meal planning.

Personal Specification: Honest, reliable, and caring nature. Punctual and trustworthy. Respect confidentiality. Enjoy sports and exercise.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense). Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
