Job summary

Brook Street Social Care is recruiting a Health Care Assistant to support elderly residents in care homes around NP44. The role offers long day, night (wake) and split shifts (AM/PM). Pay starts from £13.45 per hour PAYE, with holiday pay separate.

You will work as part of a team to provide compassionate care, help with daily living activities, personal care and safety, and promote independence. DBS checks and references are required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years.
• Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
• Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks.
• Willing to undertake personal care.
• To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and care to elderly residents within care homes.
• Support daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Promote independence and safety, supporting mental health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a team and adapt to various client needs.
