Job summary

Langford Park Nursing Home in Exeter is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, meals, and activities. Full and part-time positions are available, with days, nights or bank shifts, and excellent training provided.

You will work as part of a friendly team, develop your skills through ongoing development, and help residents maintain independence in a warm, homely environment.

Qualifications

• Experience isn't required, but a kind personality is.
• Good written/verbal communication and people skills.
• Flexibility is important. Team members work alternate weekends.
• Good IT skills, able to work with electronic devices and/or computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Organise and take part in social and recreational activities.
• Assist with residents' personal care and mealtimes.
• Provide support to help residents maintain their independence.
• Get to know residents and their families to provide the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate records.
