Job summary

OptiMatch Solutions is recruiting compassionate Support Workers and Care Assistants for permanent full-time and part-time roles in Croydon and surrounding areas.

You will provide person-centred care, assist with personal care, support with medications, encourage independence, and maintain care records. A DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one; right to work in the UK is essential. Driving licence is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care or support work is desirable, but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Assist with personal care while promoting dignity, respect and independence.
• Support individuals with medication in line with care plans and company policies.
• Encourage independence and support individuals with daily living tasks, appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns appropriately.
• Build positive relationships with the people you support, their families and healthcare professionals.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
