Fessey House is a modern, non-traditional care home with 68 beds across 6 purpose-built units, each featuring a kitchen, lounge, and dining area.

Our service users are aged 65+ with cognitive impairments such as Dementia. The environment is recently extended, with landscaped gardens and communal activity rooms to enhance residents' quality of life.

We pride ourselves on a person-centred approach to supporting residents and their families.

Your next role

As a Care Assistant, you will support our friendly team in helping individuals achieve the best outcomes and live fulfilling lives. Full training will be provided, including opportunities to gain an NVQ Level 2 Care Certificate or equivalent if not already held.

Experience working with elderly people, whether formal or informal, is essential, along with awareness of Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

Shift patterns

We offer various shifts, including early (8:00am start), late (until 9:30pm), and night shifts (9:30pm to 8:00am) on a rolling 2-week rota, including every other weekend.

Location

Fessey House is located on Brookdene in Haydon Wick, accessible by bus from Orbital Shopping Park, Park North, Taw Hill, and Middle Wichel.

Requirements

Fluency in English is required for effective communication in this customer-facing role.
