Job summary

Bluebird Care Newmarket is seeking a female Care Assistant to help local customers stay safe and independent in their own homes in Newmarket and surrounding villages. A driver is required; salary is £15.80 per hour plus 35p per mile.

This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own car. No sponsorship interviews are offered for right-to-work status; training is provided and DBS checks are required.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you'll support customers to remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Duties Include

• Personal care
• Medication support
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Companionship and emotional support
• Promoting independence and choice
• Accurate care documentation

You’ll be part of a small local team, building meaningful relationships with the people you support and making a genuine difference to their daily lives.

No previous care experience is required as full training is provided.
