Job summary

Bluebird Care is hiring a Care Assistant (Female) in Huntingdon for local rounds with driving duties. You’ll provide personal care, meals support and companionship in clients’ homes, with guaranteed hours and ongoing development. Training will be provided and there are clear opportunities to progress.

You’ll use your own car for work, hold a full UK driving licence, and work alternate Saturdays and Sundays as part of a small local team.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only (Schedule 9, Equality Act 2010).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Your own car for work.
• Availability to work alternate weekends (Sat and Sun).
• Right to Work in the UK (passport/birth certificate/settlement).
• Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in clients' homes.
• Assist with medication management as required.
• Support meals, nutrition and daily activities.
• Offer companionship and social engagement.
• Support clients to get out and about.
