Cera is recruiting Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in South Shields for night shifts.
Are you kind? A people person? Love making a difference in people's lives? Then we can offer you the perfect role as a Carer, where you will genuinely make a difference, every day! No experience required.
It's secure work with good pay, great training, and no previous experience needed. Working hours are two nights per week, from 10 pm to 7 am. Week 1: Sat/Sun nights; Week 2: Mon/Tues nights.
Extra Care units offer residents their own self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with access to care staff based within the unit who provide care to each resident. As a care assistant, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalized care and support plans.
Every client's needs are different. You may assist with housework, help with getting up in the morning, prepare a hot meal, offer companionship, assist with medication, or help with washing and dressing. Our carers become friends, providing human company, encouragement, and sometimes a laugh, especially when life is tough. Caring can be challenging, but your support will be greatly appreciated by clients and their families.
