Job summary

Clanmil Housing Association seeks a Care Assistant to support residents in our NI housing schemes. Based at Giboney House, De la Cour House or Marriott House, the role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 and multiple contracts.

You will help with meals, daily living tasks and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. We value empathy, reliability and a willingness to register with the NI Social Care Council (NISCC) if not already registered.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for the elderly.
• Able to verbally communicate in English with clients.
• Literacy skills and ability to work in a team.
• Empathy, compassion and a caring nature.
• NISCC registration or willingness to register at offer.
• NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and serving of meals.
• General housekeeping tasks.
• Provide care and support to residents.
• Promote independence, choice and dignity.
