Job summary

MHA are seeking a Care Assistant to provide personal and social care to residents at Fitzwarren House, Swindon. This permanent part-time role (33 hours per week) offers a supportive environment aligned with MHA values.

You will be a keyworker for residents, help develop care plans (including dementia care), and uphold safeguarding and infection control. Training and flexible rosters, including weekends, are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication with residents and families.
• Empathy and patience when supporting daily living.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in care.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Develop and review individual care plans, including dementia care.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans to enhance wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health & safety practices.
