Job summary

MHA's Rushden Park care home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Days) to support residents in a lively, compassionate environment in Rushden. You will act as a keyworker for a group of residents, assist with admissions, and help implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

You will provide personal and social care to promote dignity, independence and wellbeing, including residents with dementia, while maintaining safeguarding, infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Care assistant role focused on dignity and wellbeing of residents.
• Willingness to undertake training (Level 1/2 in social care encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills essential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for residents and support admissions
• Develop and review individual care plans, including dementia care
• Provide personal and social care per care plans, promoting wellbeing
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health & safety practices.
