Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, while respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

About the role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Recognizing and escalating risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
  • Practicing safe systems of work.
