Job summary

A recruitment agency for care services is looking for experienced care workers in Alvaston, Derby. You will deliver high-quality care to elderly residents, primarily those living with dementia. Qualifications

Overview

Flexible hours available for experienced care workers in the Alvaston area of Derby on days. This role offers weekly pay for the hours that you work.

If you are a care worker with experience in a busy care or nursing home, we would love to hear from you. You will work alongside an existing friendly and experienced team to deliver high-quality care to elderly residents, with the home predominately providing care to those living with various levels of Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to the residents.
• Assisting residents with mobility (including use of Hoists).
• Preparing and serving light meals to residents.
• Preparing and recording fluid intakes.
• Undertaking domestic duties as required.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up-to-date mandatory training.
• Referencable work history.
• At least 3 months of experience within a similar setting.

Additional Information

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, you can get help with online training available at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.

Please note that we do not offer sponsorships. This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

You will be working either: 07:00 to 14:30, 14:30 to 21:00, or 07:00 to 21:00. Available hours are usually communicated on a weekly basis and can be on days from Monday through to Sunday.

Pay: £12.25 per hour.
