Home: Kingston House
Location: Kingston House, Lansdowne Crescent, Calne, Wiltshire SN11 9NP
Pay details: £12.11 – £12.49 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 40hrs and 24hrs
Shifts: [including weekends]
7am-2pm Early, 2pm-9pm Late, 7am-9pm Long Day

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
  • Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
  • Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
  • Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

To apply, you will need:

  • An understanding of the needs of residents
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
  • Experience of providing care (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with elders (Desirable)
