Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, committed Care Assistants to join a friendly, committed team to work in a Nottingham care home who live in the NG11 area.

This role is working Monday to Friday supporting residents suffering with dementia and other age-related illnesses with their daily routines.

As a Care Assistant, you will be working as part of a team encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible, providing support for their emotional and physical needs and being their daily companion.

You will ensure every resident’s physical and psychological wellbeing is at the centre of your priorities, giving the individuals the respect and dignity that they deserve.

Additional responsibilities could include: -

• domestic tasks.
• adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the individuals
• Helping with the residents’ nightly routines
• Personal Care
• Assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Supporting residents’ wellbeing and emotional needs

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.


This is an ongoing opportunity.

Your typical hours will start at 07.00. and finish at 14.00 or from 14.00 and finish at 22.00 Monday to Friday

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour
