Our Meallmore team at Daviot Care Home in Inverness warmly welcomes you to join as a Care Assistant. Located in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home provides high-quality nursing care for residents affected by general frailty, with specialist units for those living with dementia and mental health conditions.

We offer a mentorship programme along with ongoing learning and development opportunities to support your growth, whether aspiring to become a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Care Practitioner. If you're not already registered, Meallmore will assist you in registering with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Your Role as a Care Assistant

• Provide high-quality care and support according to individual care plans.
• Promote wellbeing and participate in activities within the home.
• Follow Meallmore Standards, Policies, Procedures, and National Care Standards.
• Adhere to SSSC codes of Practice.
• Collaborate with care staff and wider teams.
• Perform personal care duties.

Desirable Skills

• Working towards SSSC registration qualification.
• SVQ Level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
