Job summary

Avondale Care (Scotland) Ltd in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide personalised care and support for residents at Robert Allan (Complex Care). This full-time role (38.5 hours per week) offers the chance to work in a heart-centred, family-run organisation delivering high-quality daily living assistance.

You will collaborate with a committed team to uphold residents’ dignity, promote independence and enhance quality of life while following care plans and maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Compassionate and proactive individual with a patient-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of care and comfort for residents per individual care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including mobility, dressing, bathing and nutrition.
• Promote social activity and encourage participation in local community events.
• Maintain hygiene standards in line with home policy.
• Report concerns to the nurse in charge and care home manager.
• Participate in activities and outings to support wellbeing and quality of life.
• Respect residents confidentiality and involve them in their care decisions.
